Donhauser Art Sale September 2018
As kids, we grew up around art since our dad Paul was so fully immersed in it. He taught it, he created it, and he sold it. He lived it!! Our house was decorated with not only his work, but the work of his contemporaries, his mentors, and of course his students. From early on in our lives we traveled to summer art fairs and helped dad set up his booth. We traveled to other universities whose art departments hired dad to help them build kilns. And we attended artist receptions at the galleries that sold his artwork. Over all these years of helping we gained knowledge of his artwork and style. We knew so many people in the field of fine arts; his good friends, students, museum directors, and gallery owners. So it seemed only fitting for us to open up his collection to the public that could purchase and enjoy it. After much preparation in September 2018 we hosted the Donhauser Art Sale at dad's private studio in Oshkosh, WI. It was a 3-day event and we donated a generous portion of the sales to the scholarship in his name at UW-Oshkosh Foundation.

This event was a stunning success. We got to reminisce with so many people and listen to so many heartfelt stories about dad. And best of all, dad's artwork found new homes where it will be appreciated for years to come.

Donhauser Art Sale September 2022

We have set the date for an encore Donhauser Art Sale. The first sale was wildly successful, but we have some masterpieces left that need good homes! Mark your calendars for Sept 9-11, 2022. 9am-5pm. Spread the word and join us on Facebook. This will be a 3-day event open to the public. All artwork is one-of-a-kind and original. First come, first serve. Again for this sale, we are creating a limited-edition commemorative t-shirt from one of Paul's paintings, along with a matching art card. A portion of all sales will benefit the art-student scholarship in Paul's name at UW Oshkosh.

Private Studio Showing
Our two art sales mentioned above were very successful and memorable. We found good homes for many of our masterpieces. We also made two generous contributions to the scholarship in dad's name at UW-O.
​
But we do have more of dad's ceramic pots, sculptures, and paintings left. Rather than host another sale, we would prefer to offer private showings of dad's studio. If this interests you, please contact Jennifer.
